WerewolfWerewolves (Gaurhoth) are spirits in wolf-fells that served Sauron when he was the master of Tol-in-Gaurhoth, the Island of Werewolves.
DraugluinThe lord and sire of the werewolves of Angband, old in evil, a dread beast whose powers were great. He was sent by Sauron to battle Huan, the hound of Valinor, but that proved to hard. Draugluin died at his master´s feet with the words "Huan is there!". That was the end of the werewolf-lord.
Carcharoth (also known as Wolf, the Red Maw, Anfauglir, the Jaws of Thirst)Fed by Morgoth´s own hand and great were the powers put upon him by the dark lord. When Beren took one of the silmarils from the crown of Morgoth Carcharoth was the first to attack. He bit off Beren´s hand and swallowed it. But by doing so he also swallowed the silmaril which Beren had been holding. The great jewel burned him from the inside and the pain drove Carcharoth insane. He ran through the lands killing everyone he met until he was slain by Huan.
