Hummerhorns
According to a hobbit rhyme, a race of winged insects called hummerhorns was said to have battled a questing knight. Wheter these ferocious insects were of giant size, or the knight was of some diminutive race, or wheter the tale was a product of hobbit humour cannot now be learned.
